TYPICAL SCANNING WORKFLOW

9:00AM - ARRIVE ON SITE

(Or whenever the space is quietest.) Short briefing with manager / shift supervisor and any staff present.

9 - 9:30 - SITE CHECK

This will ensure the space is presented in the best possible way; mess does not make for an effective tour. We will check that there are no issues and plan a route for the scanning.

9:30 - 11:00 - SCANNING THE SPACE

This stage obviously varies depending on the size of the space.  A small restaurant may have less than 40 scan points and would be scanned within 1 hour whereas a space of between 100 - 200 scan points would take around 3 - 4 hours to scan.  To give an illustration, the 3 storey house in the video at the top of the home page had 125 scan points.

11:00 LEAVE THE SITE

At this point we would head back to the office to tidy up the scan data and then upload the scan for processing. This is usually complete within a few hours for a small space but as much as 10 hours for a larger space.

<24hrs CREATING THE TOUR 

Once the site is processed and uploaded, we create the tour including any of the labels and Mattertags that you want us to include. We will then send you the first version of the tour for you to advise on any edits. Once approved we then send you the final link and the embed code to the tour we have uploaded to our server for you to use in your website or social media platforms.
